Kick advocate Trainwreck has announced that the new streaming platform could get a mobile app on March 3.

High-profile gambling streamer Trainwreck has confirmed that Kick could finally get a mobile app on March 3. The Stake-backed streaming platform does not yet have a mobile offering despite launching in December last year.

Along with a number of other popular streamers, Trainwreck, real name Tyler Niknam, transitioned to Kick after Twitch banned unregulated casino gaming. The Arizonian took to Twitter on Friday to share the good news of the upcoming app with his followers:

Kick confirmed that it was working on the release of a mobile app earlier this month, although the lack of a launch date left users frustrated. Now, many of Trainwreck’s followers have expressed their excitement following his March 3 confirmation.

That’s what will really kick it off”

One user called ERICKMERCS simply exclaimed: “Can’t wait!” Meanwhile, another Trainwreck follower elementalqt believes that the mobile option will help drive the platform’s growth: “That’s what will really kick it off,” he said. “People too lazy and need phone apps.”

The platform has had a turbulent progression since its launch last year, with even main site advocate Trainwreck raising concerns over the platforms viewbotting issue. In another moment of controversy this week, Heelmike was the first streamer to get a ban from Kick after engaging in an on-screen sex act.
