Agreements for the 2021 season

The National Football League (NFL) has announced agreements with four sportsbook operators for the 2021 season – FOX Bet, WynnBET, PointsBet, and BetMGM. The NFL revealed these approved companies via Twitter on Monday:

As a result of these deals, each of the operators will be able to buy NFL in-game commercial units, as well as access other types of NFL media inventory. They have agreed to comply with the NFL’s integrity policies and have committed to working alongside the league when it comes to promoting responsible gambling. All four will also be able to license official data from the league’s official data provider, Genius Sports.

Building on existing partnerships

Speaking about these new agreements was the NFL’s vice president of business development Nana-Yaw Asamoah. He said: “Along with our three Official Sports Betting Partners, this group of operators will help the League to engage fans in responsible and innovative ways this season as the sports betting landscape continues to evolve.”

The official sports betting partners are FanDuel, Caesars Entertainment, and DraftKings.

In April, the NFL reached its first-ever partnerships with US sportsbook operators. The official sports betting partners are FanDuel, Caesars Entertainment, and DraftKings. These operators got the exclusive right to leverage the NFL marks throughout their sportsbook offerings.

They also received access to the premium advertising inventory during NFL games, as well as during other types of related programs. Only the three official sports betting partners and the four operators announced as partners for the 2021 NFL season will be able to buy the select NFL media and advertising inventory.

Four ever-growing sportsbook operators

The four newly-approved sportsbook operators each have an extensive presence in the burgeoning US sports betting market. FOX Bet is the only US sportsbook operator that has full integration with a leading media company, disseminating betting odds and content across the FOX Sports network. In addition to the FOX Bet sports betting app, there is also the highly popular free-to-play game – FOX Bet Super 6 that gives away millions of dollars in prizes.

BetMGM is a collaboration between MGM Resorts International and Ladbrokes owner Entain Plc. This operator has sportsbooks currently up and running in 11 states. Australia-based PointsBet has been growing rapidly in the US market and has sportsbooks operational in seven states. Finally, the Wynn Resorts-owned WynnBET has sportsbooks live in seven states, with more to follow in the near future.
