The new BetRivers Lounge has opened at the PPG Paints Arena, home to the National Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Penguins. The new sportsbook offering is provided by Rush Street’s Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. It boasts the familiar BetRivers brand and provides plenty of space for placing wagers, having drinks, and viewing the game on the big screen as well as in-person.

The BetRivers Lounge opened in time for the Penguins’ matchup against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday, April 24. Fans were able to purchase ticketed bowl seats as well as relax in the lounge area during the game. Streaming odds boards are located in the sportsbook for easy access to information before wagering.
The new lounge is located on the FedEx level of the PPG Paints Arena, third floor, in section 119.
BetRivers Lounge
BetRivers.com is the official sportsbook of the Penguins and welcomes guests who are 21 years of age or older into the new space. Guests who have a BetRivers.com account can watch the action live and wager from the BetRivers Lounge. Fans can place bets inside the Arena, the Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, or throughout the state via mobile device.
Pittsburgh Penguins president and CEO David Morehouse commented on the new lounge, saying it is another investment delivered by the partnership with Rivers to enhance the experience of fans in the Arena.

The new lounge has a similar style to the sportsbook at the Rivers Casino. The company hired DMAC Architecture of Chicago to design both spaces.
Online casino launch in West Virginia
In addition to opening the new sportsbook lounge in Pittsburgh, BetRivers has been busy with its online casino operations. Earlier this month, the company announced the launch of its online casino in West Virginia. Rush Street Interactive has partnered with Mountaineer Park Inc. to offer services.
Customers of BetRivers in West Virginia have access to the rewards program of Rush Street Interactive. With the program, players can earn online loyalty points and use them to play additional games such as bonus bingo, scratch cards, and wheel spins.
Sports betting in Virginia
In Virginia, BetRivers launched a retail sportsbook and online platform back in January. The operator was the third to get started in the state after receiving a temporary permit for operations. The brand was able to offer sports betting via a partnership with Rivers Casino Portsmouth.
The deal between the two is for 20 years and will see BetRivers operate a retail sportsbook inside the casino when it opens.
